Kids Wall Art Project

It’s easy to hop down to the nearest store for the latest kids wall art, but it’s difficult these days to find cheap kids wall art and it is especially a problem when your kids grow up in a few year demanding a change in scenery. It is, after all where they spend most of their time so it has to be decorated with a lot of thought and care.
There are many kids wall art ideas that you don’t have to spend a living fortune on and that you can design in the comfort of your own home. What is more is that you will be having some fun at the same time. If your kids are older they will be able to help you and in this way they will appreciate it more.
There are many different projects you can come up with for kids wall art decor. Using kids wall art stickers will brighten up the walls at an affordable price, but there is a lot you can do with Styrofoam as well.
This is one Styrofoam project you can create for a young child’s room. It is a shape of a caterpillar and will look good above their bed with their name on.
You will need:
- 7 Styrofoam discs
- Acrylic bright green paint with paintbrushes and spatulas
- 2 dark green pipe cleaners
- Letter stickers, depending on the name
- Paint the discs evenly and leave until they are dry
- You can also paint interesting patterns with another shade of green on top of the bright green.
- When the discs are dry overlap them slightly and glue them together in the shape of a caterpillar. You can arrange the discs by alternating one at the top layer and one at the bottom for interest’s sake.
- Glue the letters on the discs
- Twist the pipe cleaners around and insert into the first disc
- You can also draw a face on the fist disc
